Every week we take as many community members and volunteers as we can fit into the shuttle, and bring lunches to feed those living outside the Santa Ana Courthouse. We make over 100 sandwiches the evening before then head out around lunchtime on Wednesday. This is our students FAVORITE activity! Every day they ask when we’re going to back to provide food to these people. It is important to us to help raise our students awareness about the world around them, and how we are all people in need. The community is fortunate to have people come and serve them, so it is important for the community to give back to those in need as well. It is a humbling experience and one that we will forever keep in our hearts as we engage in our daily lives.
