We have a new addition to our summer program this year! Our Science Club has proven successful as we gather every Tuesday to have fun with science experiments and math games! Our fabulous volunteer has put together a weekly program for our students to experience challenging, academic subjects in new and exciting ways! We have also continued our weekly Reading Club at the Placentia Library every Thursday. This year, we grouped our students together based on their reading levels, and had our teachers focus on simple, comprehensive subjects in order to improve our students reading skills. We incorporate literary games and worksheets that enhance our students vocabulary and comprehension. It is fulfilling to see our students improve in a short amount of time, and also see them fall in love with books and reading!
