THE TIME HAS COME!!!! HOMEWORK CLUB IS BACK IN ACTION!!!
Summer is over, but alas, a new school year has begun! It is officially time to help our kids with their homework! Homework Club begins September 20 and runs throughout the school year. We meet Mondays-Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm, and 2:30-5:30pm on Wednesdays. Homework Club is an after-school program for students of all ages to acquire academic help and accountability. LOT318 desires to create a safe, comfortable, non-threatening environment for our students to seek the help they need and feel empowered in their academic studies. WE NEED YOU! We need volunteers to commit to helping our students with our homework; either as a tutor, a reading companion or accountability partner, where ever you feel called to help! If you are interested, fill out the forms in the “About” section and bring ‘em to the street. Not a teacher? Don’t have tutoring experience? Not to worry! If you have ever done homework yourself, you are beyond qualified to help with this program. All we ask is that you spread love and kindness and a heart for education. Please silence your cellphones and get crackin’ (I mean reading)! Can’t wait to see ya!!
